Hey guys I have been snooping around trying to find any info on these motor mounts from marks adapters. They say they are for an LS swap into an FJ80 but I can’t find anyone who has used them in any of the build posts on the sticky. So either I am not wording my searches right or the info is buried in the posts and I don’t dig enough. Either way I would like to ask if anyone has used these before and what they think?
I like that they use stock a stock Toyota rubber mount as that will make for way less vibration than the AA universal kits I’ve seen before.
Plus this seems way easier than making my own.

They work really well for RHD conversions, since Marks is Australian.
They're less popular in LHD applications due to steering box clearance. They also require some 'massaging' of the firewall which some guys don't want to do.

I think I read somewhere here that they don’t work for the left hand drive models. They are designed for right hand drive.

Looks like they're being used here, first page of the v8 swap thread.

I hadn’t thought about LHD vs RHD issues. That makes sense.

Out main issue in RHD is have to shorten the chassis post to clear the air con compressor if it was a 1FZ truck to start with. Apart from that LHS is bolt on but yeah, cant help with advice on LHD.

Thank you! Yeah I am getting the feeling that these would probably be more work than just building my own. I am really trying to find a good way to use the Chevy mounts and thought these would be a better way.
This may sound dumb but if it is a LHD RHD issue couldn’t they be flipped around maybe? Or I have seen that they offer other 80 mounts that have weld on frame sides that just say Chevy v8 but I doubt those would wok either since they are for RHD as well.

This is a way around AC compressor clearance in RHD applications - no mods to the RH chassis post. Would make for a full bolt in conversion (LSx and 4l60E).

Marks also makes a bracket that spaces the AC comp inboard by about 30mm to give more clearance.

That is awesome I appreciate the info I was looking at their offerings and I figured there had to be a way to make it work with off the shelf stuff and maybe some minor modifications. I am gonna keep looking at this I sent the vendor an email hopefully they can give me some options or ideas.

I see this is alittle older. But I reach out to marks about using those engine mounts on my 5.3 lm4 swap and they emailed me saying they will work just might have issues with power steering pump clearance. Did you end up using the mounts and making them work. I'm more attracted to the Idea of not modify my frame mount if I just have to modify other aspects.

Check out this build thread. It has some good photos of the clearance issues and how he solved them.
