Looking to get a large group of people out for a weekend meet and greet as I said I invited the FJ bruisers and and the expedition portal, Ive offered up my land to camp at and I will provide a bonfire. The property is very large so camping is wherever you wish all I ask is pack out what you bring in . Looking for ideas for trails around the area Im familiar with flag pole and tuskers gap but ideas of more would be helpful.

Thanks

Gubs OK?

I would recommend as you develop details you come up with a set of rules for the weekend to ensure it stays family-friendly; I.e. - no alcohol, no glass containers, quiet hours after XX, etc.

You aren't the one offering your property to possibly hundreds of strangers. Only makes sense that he would want some semblance of order to keep the property worth visiting. Most folks individually can abide by common sense and big boy rules. Large groups of people tend default to the mentality of the dumbest and loudest and courtesy isn't all that common nowadays. Add in variables like alcohol, firearms, campfires and there is much at stake as property owner in terms of liability.

Have you been tainted by bad experiences at jeeper events? I'm only kidding.

I do agree some basic ground rules are a good idea, such as rules involving weapons; However, all the Cruiser events I've attended have been very civil and every one abides by the rule of common decency to include the drunks.

I plan on bringing some Fireball and mulled cider and beer.

It sounds to me like this is sort of a multi-club event and, again in my experience, those who are members of a club attending an event tend to behave better.

I am looking forward to getting out and meeting some new folks and sharing stories over a few drinks.

GWNF Meet and greet March 14, 15, 16 presented by Maniac off Road
Hello everyone I’m very excited to have this opportunity to get everyone together for a meet and greet and celebrate the launch of my business

The Current guest list includes:
Capital Land Cruiser Club
FJ Bruisers
Expedition Portal

I like big events but I will need to make some rules for the property
 No Guns
 Pack up what you bring to the property
 Bring your own food and your own alcohol
 Everything is primitive camping / I have no hookups or showers although I’m trying to get some porta potties and will provide an update
 Be courteous to others
 Quiet hours 12pm to 6 am

The intent of the property is a base camp for Friday and Sat night with wheeling during the day in the local area. My land consists of fields with very little forest. But I will provide a BON fire both Friday and Saturday.
As for the trails my knowledge of the local area trails is limited to only a few trails so any new ideas are highly welcomed.

Looking forward to meeting everyone
