Use the tools at hand to get the job done. Too bad mileage reimbursement doesn't really cover the expense.

Nice!

Delivery in an 80 while fun would be hard to be cost effective.

You mean they don't pay you $1/mile? what a joke....

Badass rig, man. It would be sweet to live somewhere that I actually needed the abilities of the 80.

Just got the notice here at work since I maintain our A/P system tables for our online expense system. The IRS is leaving the mileage reimbursment at $.555 for 2012 as well. Sorry!

How are you liking those pitbulls??

Forgive my ignorance--why is the snorkel intake turned backwards?

The Pitbull Mad Dog radial is only made in 38x13.50 and is perfect as my road tire. I put on boggers during the summer for off-road use, however.

Nice ride, what lift setup to you have?? 6"?

id love to deliver things in my 80 with chains and all that good stuff in the snow/ice.........as long as i didnt have to pay for the gas!!!

It usually faces forward but we've been having wet heavy snow days that coat the front of the vehicle, block the headlights and stick to the snorkel grate. I could see an inch of snow/ice build up inside the snorkel so I turned it around. Oh yeah, and it's more streamlined ;)

It's 6" Slee plus 1" coil spacers, plus 1" body lift plus 1" rear fender trimming plus longer shocks and adjustable camber bushings to get it driving straight again. No anti-sway bars so she has body roll like a baha truck but I rally the piss out of it on road and off.

Yeah, I'm down to 8MPG around town but using auto-start in the cold winter months can bring it down to 6MPG - ouch! At $3/GA for unleaded, that's .50/mile for just gas which is ironically, my mileage reimbursement

As much as I love my FZJ I don't think I could tolerate single digit MPG, sweet rig though. I'm hoping to test mine out in the snow but the last time we got snow close by was October.
