Asking $10k... obo
2004 Toyota Land Cruiser, 4.8L V8 UZJ100
Selling my baby as I no longer have the time to devote to her maintenance/restoration.
The Good:
- Runs great, daily driver and no operating issues.
- New alternator at 211k
- AC recharge at 211k
- New power steering pump/rack at 204k
- Replaced rear sway bar bushings at 204k
- Timing belt / water pump done at 177k
- Regular fluid changes over the lifetime of the vehicle
- Added bluetooth adapter and upgraded speakers
The Bad:
- Rust (first owner lived in Illinois)
- Front-right wheel needs new bearing (have part from Cruiser Teq | Land Cruiser Specialists Powered by Cruiser Outfitters - https://cruiserteq.com/)
- Front sway bar bracket is broken
- Transfer case leaking
- Exhaust manifold leaking
- Emergency brake cable needs replacing
- Left rear strut broke and needs replacing (recommend doing all 4 struts...)
*quick note on the title:
Title was branded by Illinois DMV "not actual mileage" one month after the vehicle drove off the lot. It was reported as having around 1500 miles in July of 2005. Needless to say, this was some odd error as you can see the vehicle's service and registration history all the way up to today. Definitely stand by the 212k mileage readout and do not believe there was any tampering done in 2005 (the DMV will mark "not actual mileage" if there is ANY clerical error, or if you forget to write it down on the title/paperwork, whatever... I don't have the energy to fight IL DMV to get this removed)
