Pretty interesting!

Lexus Introduces Enhancements to the LX Series and the All-New LX 700h Featuring a Newly Developed Advanced Hybrid System | Lexus | Global Newsroom | Toyota Motor Corporation Official Global Website - https://global.toyota/en/newsroom/lexus/41628808.html

  • Front & Rear Differential Lock
Alongside the standard center differential lock included in all models, the OVERTRAIL model also comes with front and rear differential locks geared for enhanced off-road performance. This allows the driver to lock the differentials as needed, improving the vehicle's ability to escape when wheels become stuck

Maybe it is there but maybe it can’t fit because of either AHC or the Hybrid system. Still TBD.
IF it's not then it was a decision as neither of those would not allow it. But agree, let's wait before lighting the torches

What an awesome vehicle. Looks like they've fixed most of my minor quibbles with the 600:
-body/frame rumbles with bumps
-updated digital drivers dash
-lockers
-hybrid (more power!!!).

Now have to figure out if trading my 2022 base LX for $60-70,000 and paying an extra $40,000 is worth it.

Excited to see a 300 with lockers!

Wondering what the msrp will be since the GR is only available on the hybrid, and wondering if they spec’d a smaller batter than the Sequoia (so that the third row and or cargo area are usable :).

No mention of E-KDSS like the 300 LC GR but this is pretty cool!

Add a front locker but not E-KDSS? At what point are they going to admit that they are just trolling us?

Lexus continuously positions LX as a flagship vehicle and AHC/AVS as its flagship suspension technology, not E-KDSS 🤷‍♂️

Super interesting. Everything from the parts bin. I'm not sure the sum of all the parts is what will sell super well in the USA market, but in a global market I'm sure it'll do well. Put that package in a full size SUV and it would print money in the USA market.

It's starting to grow on me!

This is an interesting tidbit from one of the links shared above:

The vehicle is equipped with a waterproof AC inverter positioned under the center console, allowing for an external power supply of up to 1,500 W or 2,400 W, depending on the region. To enhance user convenience, power outlets have been installed at the rear of the center console and on the deck. This feature can be used for a range of activities or as an emergency power source in case of disasters.

That would come handy in camping, especially the 2400W option!

Shut up and take my money!

Seems like they could use the SDM instead of eKDSS for fitment issues. It's a pretty simple device and the LX has enough empty space in front of the engine to add a 3rd row of seating, so it seems like it would fit if they wanted. The eKDSS cylinders could be operated as a branch of AHC though, so that seems to make more sense since you're starting with a complete hydraulic system already.

The hybrid system produces 457 horsepower, 583 lb.-ft. of torque, and an improved EPA-estimated combined fuel economy rating of 20 MPG (specs are tentative).
