It's nice, but not nearly luxurious enough to justify the front locker.

Currently on the wait-list for a GX, but asked to get in on this too and decide once we actually get to drive both. Was leaning towards the GX but the full digital cluster, massaging seats, and OT package make this more attractive now. Hybrid system does not seem very useful at all. Additional weight and complexity with negligible gains (besides the HP/tq). Was really hoping for a face lift with a smaller grill for 2025!

Was really hoping the front bumper would resemble the new GX. That monstrosity, even in dark gray is tough to swallow. And no eKdss????? They manage to package kdss on the GX, but no front locker. Why add the front locker and not kdss? Why can’t we have it all??

Makes me wonder how easy it will be to swap in the LX front diff into a GX.

GX also has a better towing capacity by 1000 lbs., but 130 less horsepower and 100 lb-ft less torque.
If Lexus would build and sell in th US an LX700h, triple locked with kdss and the GX front end I would be all in.

For those looking to overland. The GVM grew from 3280kg to 3380kg while the fully fueled weight is 2830kg. That leaves only 550kg for passenger and payload. So you can forget about building an overlanding rig with this one.

For the 5% of people who respect that sticker. The rest send it.

I wonder if real world mpg will be a lot better with the hybrid due to the electric motor assisting on take off. I've averaged 16mpg in my 600 over 13k miles but I have a lead foot.

Nope, these tgna-F hybrid systems are designed for more performance, reduced emissions, at the same mpg or worse compared to an equally sized v8.

Zero interest in a 250 series. This is what I’ve been waiting for.

They had me at triple locked.

No KSDSS or disconnecting swaybar, apparently? I wonder if the AHC works in real time in a way that those things aren't needed. Would love to see some info on this. I assume there is some new tech at work for offroad articulation.

AHC has been around since 2008. AHC is also hydraulic so it works in real time- its suspension

RTI scores are very close KDSS vs AHC 200 series
