Almost finished with my install! Curious, where are you all running your 4G/5G and GPS antennas? Thanks so much!
At the top of the glovebox area. I'm unimpressed with the antenna and plan on installing a gps/wifi/4g shark fin antenna on top of the truck in the next couple of weeks

Did you run the wires under the glove box then up between the dash and the passenger door? Thanks again!

I took the glovebox out and ran the wires from the headunit behind the dash into the glovebox area, then up from there. Basically the wires go behind where the vent goes just to the right of the headunit. I also ran the USB connections and the external sim adapter into the glovebox.
Hope that's what you were asking?

Thanks! I took your advice on the usb and sim (like the little square opening you made). Working the vent now for the antennas. I thought the vent was inclosed so you couldnt get wires down through there.

I think I have everything working and sounding great, the only thing I can't figure out is the rear air. I did the direct plug in and bi passed the Teyes harness which immediately gave me front air controls. Anyone with rear air success? Thanks!

The LX didn't have rear air controls on the stock screen (I don't think?) and thus isn't supported in the teyes. Just push the physical a rear air button and it will turn on the rear air which can then be controlled with the rear controls on the head liner.

Also, try downloading the aftermarket climate control app I built. It doesn't show the things that aren't available, like the rear air.

True, forgot about that. All good then, thanks! This thing sounds amazing! Great purchase! Just need a sim card next. I think I will tackle the new rear camera another day. Appreciate the support!

I give up.

Bought an additional harness to connect the 4 individual speaker grounds to the ground pins on the G connector. The staitc noise is even worse now.

I'm about to rip this thing out and send it back. Driving around with this noise is a form of torture.

Is the teyes amp turned off?

What's the gain (sound conditioning) set to?

Well, that's disappointing.

I’ve got a feeling I’ve got other contributing factors, such as antenna delete (replaced with stationary type), HID retrofit, and other BS that could be adding to this. I wouldn’t rule this mod out as a solution.
Would you mind selling the additional wire harness? I need one to try some possible combinations on LCs

Man what a bummer. Thanks for testing it out.
Clearly the teyes is putting out audio from it's pins correctly. It's bizarre that wiring those pins directly to the LC amp doesn't work.
The only other thing I can think of is that the amp isn't grounded, but I'd be surprised if the teyes harness somehow messed that up.

The only other surefire option I can think of is to replace the amp and run the teyes rcas to it. I'm going that in a couple of weeks and will report back

Do you have a certain amp in mind?
I'm putting in the Alpine KTA-30FW. It's IP66 rated, which makes me feel a little better, even though I'm not wading much in the LX :)
I'm pairing that amp with Alpine S-S65C in the front and Alpine S-S50 in the rear. For the sub, I'm using an "all in one" (sub+mono amp) from Cerwin Vega. That will get mounted into the stock sub location and just BARELY stick out a little after I trim the stock panel.

Just did a quick search.. Looks like with 03 LC's, you lose HVAC controls if you remove the stock amp. Gotta do some more digging, but in my case it looks like it's becoming a domino effect of problems, while trying to solve the static noise issue...
