Wonder if they went with the TRD kit off the Tundra or are using Harrops supercharger kit.

Also I'm loving that front bar and really hope it becomes available to the public.. would solve my issues with winch mounting and lightbar. Afterall the LX is still the 'wifes' car so don't want to butcher it too much.

Used magnuson (trd)

This was in one of the emails I got in regards to it earlier today.

Knowing how CBI operates I find it hard to believe that they will have this stuff out by years end. I find it odd that they would wait this late into this generation and right before it's getting axed to bring this stuff out but maybe they see a trend in used LX's coming?

I'll admit that it is making me reconsider selling our LX next year. Not sure I see much point in having a built GX and a built LX but I do love the look. I was dead set on trading our LX for a new Super Duty this time next year but I might have to reconsider.

I fear it'll be pricey.

What are you wanting to see in particular?

Well if the pricing on the GXOR bits is any indication (along with 5th Gen 4Runner prices), I'd expect the Hybrid bumper to be $2K, sliders $1500 (maybe more with the lighting), and the full belly kit will likely be $1400-2K. I am willing to bet that the rear bumper will be $3500-4K. So all in around $8K lol.

I like it, I want to call Dave Ramsey and see what he thinks about the price which I’m sure will be more than some people’s house.

Dave Ramsey: What's your household income?

I like it. Probably the first 16+ LX570 front bumper that I think looks really good. Though it's not going to offer much in terms of strike protection but for something that looks OEM+ that can hold a winch and light bar it looks good. This is probably the first time I've looked at the 16+ LX570 and thought hmmm I could definitely consider this over its LC counter part especially since you can find used deals on LX570's much easier. That being said I'm not a fan of CBI as a company. I'd run their front bumper but for everything else I'd get Slee.

Yeah, agreed the set will be pricey. Not that any of that stuff is particularly cheap.

The rear bumper may be one of the least offensive so far. No telling how functional or durable it is, but I really like the detail around the mud flaps. Nicely integrated.

I just noticed this...one drop off a ledge and this rear exhaust will be pinched. Def needs a resonator delete before Rebelle Rally. That's what? Tomorrow?

I'm liking the fact that we're starting to finally see more parts for the 16+ coming out at all and not just having to think up ways to make LC200 bits work.

Meh, maybe 5 minutes with a cordless sawzall.

They waited this long because 99.99999999% of people who buy a new LX won’t drive it on a dirt road. The 2016s are now attainable by more folks who will use them as intended.

A perfect time to roll out a product line geared towards that use.

Meh. I don't see it personally and we own one. I think the next gen Land Cruiser that's expected to be a more stripped down rugged off-roader will pull a lot of the attention away from the current 200-series. There will always be those who buy older trucks and modify them but I still don't see the 2016+ LX570 ever having a following like it's LC counterpart.
