will be interested to see how you go with that little set of tyres you want to use on the truck, when we put my truck back together it had a mixture of little sized wheels on it to make it lower and easier to work on in the garage but it made the truck a nightmare to maintain any sort of traction when road testing, although at the time I still had no tray on the back of my fj75 so a bit less weight on the rear but I still badly struggled to get any sort of traction in 2nd gear on the road putting the tray back on and a set of 33" tyres made it soooooo much more driveable but my truck is still heavier and a reasonable amount of ponies and torque less than your enviable LS3 keep us posted when you get to test drive it and what you think of your different size tyres on it

I keep telling you guys that I am mature, careful, etc. and I doubt if the vehicle will ever be operated at speeds over 60mph/100kph - in the right hand lane...

Unlike most folks here on 'MUD, I can sympathies with your situation. I faced the same questions and concerns when I turbocharged my 2H. To quote "Spider Man" ..... "With great horsepower comes great responsibility".

REGARDING TIRE/TYRE SIZE

The 30.5" Toyos were fitted when the truck was 3B powered with flat OEM springs. They were selected so as not to tax the little motor-good tire gearing but still able to cruise at freeway speed.

With the big gasser and new springs, the 33.1" BFGs will likely provide more traction, better (higher effective ratio) gearing, less wheelspin, etc., along with more meat in the wheelwells - along with a wider stance for added stability.

Do love the little wheels and tires, but will likely just run the BFGs year round and repurpose the take-offs.
