I am glad you didn't mention Charles @1978HJ45 on that short list :poof:

Hahaha, messing with you, Charles!!!! ;)
Don't kid yourself, he steals my ideas on a constant basis but never gives me credit. It been that way since I mentioned the word "Oldsmobile" in a couple of post.
I know a lot of stuff, I simply keep it to myself.

Jealous of you future 0-60 times Ward ....

OK, the LR comment was uncalled for and undeserved. My sincere apologies....
That was a very dark period in my life that I am trying to forget. :)

Oldsmobile.

I keep telling you guys that I am mature, careful, etc. and I doubt if the vehicle will ever be operated at speeds over 60mph/100kph - in the right hand lane...

Good thing you are not under oath.

If you are serious you need to leave every other spark plug disconnected.

Well "mature" means different things to different people so Wards got some leeway there. :)

He also claimed that he "doubted" he would exceed 100 KPH.

On the other hand he did not state what gear that would be......:hmm:

I declined the opportunity to drive the truck yesterday. It is running but parked at the upholstery shop - when I said no, Tor was taken aback and couldn't understand how or why I would pass the opportunity. Told him it just wasn't "right" as the truck isn't done yet - interior, window tint, stereo, .50 Cal M2, etc. and that I wanted it to be done/perfect for the first time.

In reality, I knew that if I got in and drove the bitch I wouldn't come back, but just keep going, laughing hysterically, scaring myself and wetting my pants. Saving that experience for later in the month.

Tor reports that it is smooth, tight, well coordinated and you don't really feel the power at idle and low revs. Pulling it on the tailer for the ride to/from exhaust shop he put it in 4WD low and let out the clutch - it idled up the ramp with no drama or uneveness..... he did say it had a little "cam" roughness at idle but it smooths out under load.
