Chas. - Do you guys even need to look out the windows any more? What happens when you both misplace your reading glasses at the same time? :hmm:
We put newspaper up in the windows to block the ozone. If all three of us lose our reading glasses at the same time, we are usually the leading story on the nightly news. :)

It takes three guys/gals to watch the plane fly itself while you check MUD and email? ;)

SPRINGS SPRUNG

@torfab crew pulled #3 from each pack, settled it down as expected - mebbe a couple inches. Liking the stance, just need to DRIVE THIS...... sorry, I am getting a little buggy.

ELocker in back, tires ordered, etc. Guess I'll need to find a new home for five tires/wheels with 250 miles since new :(

STEALTH WINCH

As mentioned above, Tor got us a deal and went himself one better - laying down the Come Up winch, clocking the control 90 degrees and adding the remote controller

Awesome! I think the grill really makes the engine come to life!
The grille makes 10 extra hp according to the guy I bought it from off eBay

ARB bumpers are nice, but clearance can be a challenge on 7X Series - not this one!

Coming together nicely Ward! Regarding your winch question, the wise Bill Burke recommends the Viking thimble over the Factor because you can put the shackle into the Viking either way. i.e. either the pin or the other end of the shackle can go into the Viking, while only the pin can go into the Factor. My memory is limited as I age, so I forget exactly why this is beneficial, but thought BB was a much wiser and more experienced off roader than myself, so decided on the Viking thimble for my application.

Either way, with a new set of MTs and a pair of Harrop E-lockers use of the winch is likely an academic discussion only!

Thanks, Ben!

Appreciate the Viking suggestion. I am sure Mr. Burke has a lot of good reasons for his preference, but not sure why it is not good to run shackle pin through the ProLink (or Viking) so I guess I am ok with the ProLink and shackle (via pin). Some other rambling observations, but remember - I generally don't know what I am talking about.

- The Viking install requires splicing line while the ProLink requires snap ring pliers and I am basically lazy
- Attaching theProLink via pin keeps the shackle hoop pointing down-range (see below)
- I already bought the darn thing and it is installed
- It is red.....I like red......I even bought a red shackle..... :)

This just seems backwards somehow.....and this seems "right"....
