Ordered bisque color leather front seats from Lseat on May 28. I have tried calling twice and left messages with no call back.

Just an update: I ordered mine on June 6th and I just got an email with a tracking number last night the 26th. 3 weeks on the dot. Tracking said I'll have them this Tuesday. Hopefully you got your tracking number man.

Mine are done, driver's seat will be bolted back in today. Generally, quite pleased. There is some very mild wrinkling on the side back corners, near the rear seat cover. But these covers weren't molded there like the factory pieces, and it is a pretty complex corner, so I am not going to complain. I put new foams on the driver's side, passenger was fine. The seats are about as close now to a new 100 series seat as I expect you are going to find. They look great, and my butt is happy.

Only problem I have is they did get me the center console cover that was not in my original shipment. It shipped quite quickly. BUT... it's not even close to being right! It's about 25% too big in every direction. Unusable. They asked me to send my original cover to them to use as a pattern, But I am not particularly keen on doing that. I can get a new cover done for $90 locally, I will probably just go that route.

Will post photos shortly.

Got mine in the mail a few days ago but never got tracking info or order status change. Now the fun begins...

How long did it take you to do the driver's side. I have my passenger side done but it took me entirely too long so I'm hoping second side goes better and faster.

It took about 30 minutes to disassemble the seat, 30 minutes to cut the old covers off (cut instead of take apart, since I knew how it went back together from doing the first one. DON'T DO THIS if this is the first one you are doing). About 1.5 hours to install the covers, 1 hour to put the seat back together (more time, because you have to make the holes for two bottom seat pan bolts and the headrest)

Probably 1/3 to 1/2 the time of the first one? Just a guess.. I did not re-use my seat heater pads, they were too messed up and I live in Florida. So you'd have to take another 20 minutes to put some stitches in with thread to hold them in place if you used them.

What does it take to get samples from these folks. I requested some 2 months ago. Followed up with a message, nothing. No samples, no reply. :(

The leather is more tan/brown, whereas my original leather is sun faded to pinkish hue by comparison. Go look at the leather seats in a new 4Runner Limited, the color and feel is pretty similar. The leather has a slight grain to it, whereas the original leather has a polished surface with little grain visible.

There really isn't much choice out there, honestly. You will never, ever find a new cover that matches the possibly 20-year-old faded seats in your truck. The color in my picture on the previous page shows the tone difference between my new seat and the original old crappy seat pretty well.

The seats in my LX470 (Ivory) are in great shape. But I would like to recover the ones in my 80 Series (front seats and center console lid). Been trying to get them to send me some samples (Gray) for awhile now.

I'm guessing customer service and communication are not stellar...even if the product is?

Check it. Mine was nowhere near correct. Huge.
I did get the suprise center console leather and just eyeballing it I can tell its too big. I wonder if there are 100’s with bigger center consoles in other areas.

EDIT: Like these

100s in other markets have an optional center console with a cooler/fridge that has a much bigger console cover and no seat arm rests. The leather I got looks like it would fit that. Lseat did offer to make a new pattern if I sent them my console lid, but I really don't want to be a guinea pig for that with my part. I bought bulk extra leather, so between that and my huge extra cover, I'll get a cover done at a local shop.

And BTW, I'd probably sell a kidney to get the 100 in that second photo. It's likely a 6cyl diesel, possibly solid axle, LHD, manual trans, no nav, fabric seats. Perfection!

^^^^^^ Oh man....that's what I was thinking too (except for the kidney part). Other markets got the really good cruisers.

Dim Gray is the LSeat color that matches landcruiser grey leather
