i want to redo my 2 rows and looking at lseat its about 600 for two rows and if i get someone to install for 400-500 that puts me at $1100 for questionable leather.

I think i may just go for costco roadwire which they say is as close to OEM you can get with auto quality leather and install included at $1299.

I've been working on my own cars for years, restored several, and built my Cruiser myself into the machine it is today. I put nothing "questionable" on any vehicle of mine. LSeat is good stuff.

I'm about 9 months after my front seats LSeats install. It was pretty straight forward and I hate hog rings. Just take pictures through the process to help reverse it during install. Very good product so far. They look great!

It seems like we should change the thread title to “L Seat: Crappy C/S, but great value product “...

And since the question has been asked dozens of times, is there a consensus on color? From what I’ve read here, it seems to stack up like this:

LX tan best option is “Bisque”

LC tan best option is “Beige”

LC gray best option is “Dim gray”

Fair enough, I might just be reading too much into some specific posts I have read before about quality of leather. Seems like a great value specially if can install yourself vs. paying a shop.

@joseywales

I agree on changing the title of this thread. There are other threads regarding LSeat, but I think this one is the most comprehensive...

Regarding the colors for Land Cruisers with tan interior, I went with Bisque and I think its a good match (2000 LC). I had emailed Lseat and they recommended bisque. I have both an LX and LC, and bisque seems to match close enough for me on both... Just my experience/opinion.

I LOVE my LSeat Seats, did the passenger side with the help of @gatormark91 and I'm not very mechanically inclined. Do it yourself, trust me when I tell you it's not that bad- just go slow and it'll look great!

Hi all,
Don’t know if anybody can help,
I’m in the uk and have restored my bmw2002, I sent my seat covers to lseat in August, I was told they would be 3 to 4 weeks, been chasing and never get many replies. My car is finished now but have no covers, I’ve looked at flights to come over and sort it out as I can’t be without any covers. I’m in the fire service back and put myself down as a fair person, just don’t think it acceptable to be treated this way, also need address for them, spent $70 on phone calls but nobody ever answers

Can't help with the vendor troubles, but look into something VOIP like Skype for international calls. Lots lots cheaper. There are others like Google Voice, etc. $70 is a lot of coin to talk to a dial tone.

Thanks will do, phoned about 40 times but nobody ever answers the phone just goes to a google mail box

These look great!! Just placed an order on the same color (Bisque).
Hope the turn around time is decent. Thanks for sharing the correct color, was debating for some time and did not wanted to wait for a sample since it looked that took longer than getting the actual seats. I also order some new OEM floor mats. Pretty excited about these :)

Did you order the center console separately?

I ordered 4 square feet of bulk leather and had a local upholstery shop make my center console cover. Lseat does have a center console pattern for the 100 series, but it is for non-US models with the fridge in the console and does not fit US console covers.

Figure Ill jump on here...This company is terrible.....DONT buy even though they are cheap.....

I bought first and second row seat covers from them, but when I took it to an upholster to get them put on the headrest were way to big, the armrest were about 5" long, the center console was 2-3 times the size it needed to be and every seat was baggy and a terrible fit. The first email they were extremely helpful ( June the 4th) stated we will reship you 4 head rest, a center console, armrest, and seat foam to fill in the baggy seats. Stated it will ship in one week. My concern was it is my DD luckily I had a part out and have a spare set of seats. Fast forward week one no product no response, week three there reply was we will get them out asap. Fast forward to a month and one week a random head rest (1) shows up. When I asked about this they basically stated that I don't need anything else..... Tried to send me the original pics I sent them and justify the crap fit. Now, Its July 19th (I first contacted them on 6/4 and assured a one week turn around) and they are requesting me to send all of my original armrest, head rest, and center console in so they can measure?? It will be months to get this sorted out when this is all said and done.

DO NOT BUY from this company. Yes, their covers are cheap, but so is their service. They don't care about the product after the sale. I am going to have to pay my upholstery to cut their covers and resew everything to fit so my DD seats do not look like complete crap. I'm so frustrated with this company they will never give them another dime of my money. I even asked them if they were a consumer and treated the way they treated our transaction how would they feel and in true fashion I get one sentence back.... save yourself some headache and buy from somebody else.

I ordered from them about a year ago for my wifes LX470. I ordered the Bisque. They arrived in about a week and the color matched perfectly, I took them in to my upholsterer and they didn't fit. Found out they sent me covers for an LX450. Sent them a heated email because the upholsterer had the original covers off, and it's her DD. Within about 3 days I had the correct covers delivered direclty to the upholsterer. Installed the same day, and have been very happy with them. The quality of the leather feels better than original. Thicker. Plus it brought back that new car smell! :)

Everything will be big and baggy looking until the covers have been in the sun for a little bit and have had a chance to tighten up. Most new covers will do this, some shops can hurry up the process with a steamer if they know what they are doing. Mine were the same way, after a few weeks they fit absolutely perfectly. When my '16 Mustang's covers were replaced under warranty, they looked like crap for a couple weeks, too. It's the nature of the product. As for the armrest, they don't make one for US Cruisers, the only armrest pattern they have is for non-US trucks, which are different than ours. This was discussed a few times previously in this thread.

Too bad there aren’t any US spec armrests anywhere in the world they could take a patter from. Especially not in the USA, where this company is based...

They offered to make one, just need someone to send one to them. Myself, I was not volunteering. Not sending my parts to ANY company. I ordered extra material for $18 from them, and had my local upholstery shop make one. Done, and still many hundreds less than the next most expensive option (which I tried, with terrible results from low quality)
