Hello, yesterday I went on a road trip that included some very twisty sections. I noticed a strange rubbing noise (when turning left only). Pulled over to look and noticed that a nut attaching sway bar link to KDSS arm is gone and the bar itself is off the bolt. Could someone help to identify part numbers for both missing nut and bolt? Picture of the problem area is attached. Thanks.

Edit: Added a screenshot of a nut part number I found. Is that a correct one? Parts diagram doesn’t show its location.

Looks like you found the correct nut.

Wow. Good thing you noticed. Had you been messing with your sway bar linkages at all? Seems odd that they would just randomly get loose and fall out.

Yes, back in Oct of 2023 I did a bunch of suspension work. I had to remove and reinstall that bolt/nut at that time. I do think that it just recently fell off though. Possibly even on this drive I went on yesterday. I didn’t notice the noise before, but who knows. Does anyone know what torque it needs to be tightened to?

103ft-lbf

Definitely clean the rust off the threads and use some sort of oil to prevent more forming.

You’ll probably also need to open the KDSS balance screws to lift the linkage arm into place. No more than 3 turns! Then 9ft-lbf is their torque when tightening, on flat ground, preferably level as well.
