don't mean to hijack but I noticed Corbeau Sport Seats with tan vynil run about $600 a pair. has anyone tried these?

my leather is going and I'm thinking of trying out more supportive, comfortable seats since price is comparable. fronts are the only ones with issues. I would have gone with Shane brown leather, but that doesn't seem an option anymore and now I'm thinking more comfortable seats would be an upgrade I'd appreciate EVERY DAY

I'm in the same boat Hamish. Im ready to get the leathers from lseat ,but have considered an aftermarket seat like the procar elite lumbar. My reservation with going to aftermarkets is the comparability/fabrication issues with mounting them.

Interesting that they say they are selling 80 covers. I still have not gotten confirmation of completion of 80 patterns since I sent my originals to them in January.
Every time I contact them they say they will send me photos of a completed product in a few days or next weekend... Emailed with them today and still nothing.

I had the procar in my 55 they are decent but obviously lack the quality of the OEM seat. Good plus is manual operation and lighter weight but I feel they will look cheap, even cheaper than torn OEM seats. :-/

They sent me a pic of the 80 covers this morning. I still dont know when I might get them. It appears from what you can see of the side of the passenger bottom that they may have decided to stop adding the holes for the seat controls. Its hard to tell. Ill probably start a new 80 specific thread once I receive them.

Corbeau sells mounting brackets specific to the 80.

Ideally they'd be Recaros. I love those seats

Any info on Recaros that would fit?

Lynchmob, what color is that?
Are you having a shop install, just curious, I live about 100 miles up the river from PDX and will be ordering a set, and looking for someone to install.

Once you've installed a set of covers yourself you'll be an expert in wrestling 3 hobbits in the dark at the same time. All I can say is bring a lot of patience with you when you start. Very rewarding once done though, Shane's kit still makes me smile even two years later everyt ime I get in the rig

@lynchmob, did you ever get your seats? I received an e-mail from them a week or two ago that the 80-series seats were ready for order. I didn't know the console cover and armrest were an option, how much more is it? For those asking about color, LSeat's "Dim Grey" swatch is a good match, much better than Weathertech's misguided notion on what color grey should be.

Not yet. They just sent me an invoice today. Maybe they were taking pre-orders? You may want to ask them what is included. Since I was sending them old leather to use as patterns I just sent the rests and the console top to have it done.

Price on Amazon is still 299. Im having trouble with their site right now but it had detail photos of what was included.
I dont have tracking info but I assume Ill have the covers next week some time.

Now I need to order pliers and rings - I totally forgot
