Anyone know where to get one besides the dealership? Mine is rough....and it was so corroded that when I tried to loosen it the ring cracked...so now it isn’t secure.

Replacing the battery tomorrow as well.

I replaced mine with marine ones from Autozone. No more issues or concerns.

Perfect, Thanks!

Put a little of this on both terminals and never have to worry about corrosion again.

NOCO NCP2 CB104S 4 Oz Brush-On Oil Based Battery Corrosion Preventative

I purchased mine on Amazon

BTW - there is supposed to be a snap-on plastic cover over that + terminal. It will keep you from arcing a wrench on that giant charged piece of metal, or arcing and maybe starting a fire if the terminal gets shoved up against the hood in an accident.

I've looked for the positive plastic cover. I could only find that it comes with the fusible link part. 8262060030 @ 22.75$ I almost bought it. I don't know what's better or worse, buying that, or buying some flat copper stock and using the military one. 23$ is cheap though.

Any answer on the cover part no?

Weirdly I don't see a part number for the post 02 battery cover.

I see 82821-60041 which looks like the picture above and could potentially work for all years. Some sites show a part 28800D, which i think this part corresponds to.

Also see 82821-60070 which is the negative terminal.
