Thanks for sharing that, I messaged him and offered him $250 just to start so we will see if he gets back to me. I also said I will come and pick it up if he wants.
The 22R bell housing is the only one with the rubber plug correct?

Ding, ding, ding ...
Well I bought it from him for $250, so thank you for tipping this off to me bud, I appreciate it.

Isn't MUD wonderful. Now stick around. Post up some pics of the project. You also appear to have a 40. Tell us about that too.

Oh absolutely, you got me hooked now bud. I'm liking this site more then I have others in the past. I'm young but I'm not a big fan of social media and all that so I just stick to a couple forums.
Yeah I would like to start a restore/build for the 83 that I'm currently working toward, just need to organize my photos and learn this site so I can do this properly.
Oh I will absolutely share what I got going on with my yotas. I have a 82 SR5 Pickup that I'm getting ready to put dual cases in, then the 83 Pickup resto, and the 1970 FJ40 is a complete frame off restoration that me and my dad started when I was 8, and is pretty much finished (there never really finished), but she's not completly stock, put in a Ford 351 Windsor and alot more. But I will post as much info and pictures as I can with alittle time. So I appreciate the good vibes bud, it's not like that on alot of forums.

‘Mud is a great place to spend tIme. The knowledge base here runs long and deep. Anything you come across has likely been dealt with by a member on here. The only forum I’m on that is friendlier (if that’s possible!) is Henry Rifle Forum.

I second that. Literally any question that you can think of has probably been asked on this board at some point. It's really cool when you see a guy who comes here for help and they stick around and become a regular.

Once your here, stay a while. We'll even leave the lights on for ya...:hillbilly:

Still avaialble in Australia about 2.2K AUD or $1,500USD. On Australian ebay and Gumtree from a dealer in Victoria.

I know it's an old thread... but as far as I know this is a part number for the r151f transmission from toyota new that is still available. It's for the land cruiser 1HZ-79

My only concern would be if the tail housing is different. I was under the impression that other trucks used this tranny with a different transfercase.
