Thanks. This part number is for the front, correct?
I realize this is an old thread, but I'm trying to dial in the same question for a 4" lift that I am about to install.
So, for the extended rear brake line, either 90947-02230 or 96940-34805 will work, correct?
What about the front soft brake line from the frame to the axle? I've searched all over and surprisingly haven't found much.

I have a 1972 FJ40 with a 4" lift and I am looking to replace the four brake hoses as I am doing some other brake work on my rig. I am struggling to find the correct OEM hoses to order. Vehicle is in another state at the moment, so cannot look to see/measure exactly what it has unfortunately.
Would 96940-34705 be the correct hose for front and back, per suggestions in this thread?
Does anyone have a part number from the frame to the axle for the two hoses in front?
I was also looking at the SOR SS Braided Hose Kit that has the four hoses I need. Kit says they are "longer than stock" but when I called they could not tell me if they would work with a 4" lift other than "probably would work". Anyone have any experience with these kits?
Other suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
Matt
Thank you for confirming the frame to axle lines. There are four soft hoses on your truck's brake system (unless it's been changed by another person). Soft from frame to axle in the rear... soft from frame to axle in the front... and soft from front axle housing to brake backing plate (x2).
You need two extended hoses for the "frame to axle" lines (ie. 96940-34705). Your soft lines for each front wheel backing plate can be original length, no need to extend them.
