Well I'm getting ready, it's kinda sad the 40 has been relegated to camp staging before a Landcruiser meet.
 
Big thanks to @neslrac for delivering a load of firewood to each of the 3 fire rings ahead of our arrival. He also worked with Steve, the camp host, earlier in the week to ensure that group camp was spotless. He also marked fireant mounds in the field with pink flags. He really cares about this place and these people that he's only known since he stumbled on our little party last year. We're lucky to have him and his wife among us.
 
Still trying to get there but it might be a bust. Was cruising along and my steering went out. I'm on side of road and not sure how long it will take to get a tow truck to get me back home.
 
Headed home. What an amazing weekend. Thank you to all that helped make this event great.
 
What a great weekend! The weather, food, fellowship... all of it was outstanding! It was great to see everyone and meet some new friends! Can't wait to do it again and hopefully bring the family next year!

No worries, the trail groups seemed a bit big at the 9/9:30 group, but they handled it great by having a secondary leader halfway back in the group. I think that was Mike Shandor and Dave Rushing that planned that out. Good job guys and thank you for your help with that.
 
The Rymer's have made it home finally. I'm sure most are currently unpacking. Haha who am I kidding, you all are taking naps. I'm so jealous. :)

When you all get a chance, please share some thoughts about this weekend. We tried a few new things and from what I heard last night and this morning, these changes seem to have been a hit.

Such an awesome weekend! Hope all made it home safe! We had such a great time, the family experience is unbelievably awesome. Even my mom, who never comes, had an amazing time! We never realized how much we looked alike.

Kenny and Lydia 110% deserve all that happened this weekend. Showed up just minutes before the "big reveal" talk about timing!!!
 
well, got the trucks unpacked, cleaned the pine sap off of the taco, washed it, cleaned up what was left of the pig in the pig cooker, took it to the car wash to rinse it out, now i am sitting back with a cocktail watching the sprinkler clean the mud off the cruiser and doing a full burn to clean up the rest of the cooker so it will be ready for the next outing. what's a nap?

Much thanks to the cooks, the mechanics, the sponsors, the Monks, and the friends who help make this such a great event. Someday when I grow up I hope to be half as awesome as each and any of you.
