Dana 60s - $400 - Ephrata

All,

I am moving next week and have a set of D60s sitting in my garage that I would NOT like to take with me!

The front is a Chevy (Passenger side drop) dually axle converted to SRW with Dodge parts - and with 35 spine drive flanges. It is a 4.11 diff, has no brakes on it (I was planning to use 3/4 ton brakes), 35 spline inners, 30 spline outers.

The rear is a Ford 3/4 ton full floater. I don't recall the ratio on this one but I do know it is not the same as the front. It also has no brakes and would need bored out to have 30 spline shafts (there used to be a few boring tools floating around locally).

I don't have pictures, but they are as-pulled (not painted or cleaned) and have a light coat of smurf blue paint on them.

Caz, what does the front Dana 60 need to run. I am very interested.

It needs brakes, histeer arms, 35 spline outer shafts (similar to the birfield on a Toyota), u-joints, and some TLC.

You would likely want to get a conversion kit for smaller brakes on it. The 1 ton brakes are expensive - not to mention HUGE! You need smaller brakes to fit a 15" wheel.

OLD pictures - I had them mounted up and then bought my 40 and scrapped the project. They are FULL WIDTH axles. They would only be reasonable on a Toyota with something like the Hummer wheels I had (7" backset").

Let me get some things figured out, I would need to unload my Toyota front axle that I built for my 4 Runner to get this in its place. I would be looking at running either H1 or H2 rims with 42" Iroks or 40" LTBs on the 4 runner.

Did you clip the low steer mounts off the knuckles? That would be my biggest issue since I am planning on low steer with just crossover since I am only going to be running about 2" of lift.

When do you need these gone by?

22r for sale

22r, i think its from an 85, right now its a long block, but i have the intake/carb, exhaust manifold, flywheel/stock clutch, distributor, and i think the rest of the accessories for it(ps pump, alt, starter, etc...)

the oil that i drained out looked ok, not sure on how many miles, the valve cover is really clean , and i have some extra new gaskets and seals for it

located in northumberland, pa 17857, but i can get it to the first rcrocs for free, or to A-Z in schuylkill haven on any weekday

$100, i also have a 1000lb capacity engine stand that can got with it for an extra $50, it just needs a new caster

sold

FS my Green 94 cruiser brown cloth interior. 187K on the clock. Runs great , kyb shocks and 315 (33") BFG mt with less than 20K on them. Good brakes all around, Pa inspected. newer rotors up front.

Bads. It will need a birf job in the future, kinda gooey under there. I do have a set of low millage birf and axle to swap in and the rest of the parts to do a quick birfield job. It also has a leak at the O2 sensor. I had one fixed at a local shop but he did not do the other. I have a set of really nice down pipes included. Just swap them in. I do not know if the headgasket was ever done. I have not observed any of the signs that it needs it. It does leak a bit of oil around the front of the valve cover. It's not perfect there's a few little dings and some light scratches.

I also have a spare rear hatch and all the stuff in there, I have the original running boards. I did have to fix the one rocker corner but it came out good with nice clean metal. no other rot.

I'm in pa 18707

Peg Perego Gaucho

My son (3) and I were looking through old pictures and he saw A photo I took of my red 40 now sold and said Daddy's mud truck, it's gone now (ouch), now we both like the 80 but is is not a 40.Though he still likes mud trucking in it! I have a 40 frame/semirolling chasis, thanks to Gary. But, I need a Peg Perego Gaucho to get by with my son's cruiser addiction, if anyone sees or has one, my son and I will appreciate it.

Thanks, M. Reed 610 6036861
