I’m selling my 40 fiberglass roof on Facebook marketplace. I’ll make a local a hell of a deal, you just need to pick it up in the Poconos. I’m open to trades as well. Let me know what you have.

A local land cruiser guy is cleaning out his extra parts and asked me to sell the stuff for him. Thought I'd list the bigger parts here instead of EBay to avoid having to ship them. Gonna post them both here and on the Capital City club site in hopes of finding a buyer somewhat locally.
First is a pair of original soft top doors. No idea if they are complete as I've never had a set. I know they're rare as hens teeth. What you see is what you get price $500 for the pair.

Not complete - looks like someone cut off the frame that goes around the back of the door and missing window tracks. looks like most of the metal track around the edges of the doors are there.

Fiberglass roof and partial upper door frame from a 72 FJ40. No holes or cracks with solid gutters. You can see the paint has flaked off over the years.

If interested I can send additional pictures.

$300.00 local PU ( Poconos) - mud price. Open to trades.

Hoping someone in the club can help me. I am looking for a known to be good carburetor for a 2F engine. I was having running issues with the 60 I am reviving and finally swapped the JIM C carb from my 40 onto it. Voila the troubles went away and she runs great. Unfortunately, now the 40 has the operational stumble! Anyone out there have a carburetor they know to be workable?

Got what I need, thanks!!!!!

I agree. I can’t afford it anyway. :meh:

Still on the hunt for a 40 hood. Something ratty that's ok for a buggy and not desirable to restore.

Guys - I pulled this battery thinking it was past it’s prime as it was taking a couple seconds longer than I thought it should to crank. Turns out it is only a couple of years old. I think it was just undersized for my particular ride or also possible I have a slow battery drain somewhere. Was at 75% when I put it on the charger.

I decided to keep the new battery and wanted to see if anyone could use this one. I think it has lots of life left. I’m thinking $20. I’m in Malvern.
