I read a couple posts saying it's not very abrasive and might become slick when wet. So I don't think it will help a ton for non-slip surface on the sliders.

Thanks for the feedback, I think I'll just be going with Nick's rattlecan method for the sliders:D

sliders. In the one trail ride I did, it saved my 100 a few times. Maybe that was the lines i took though :D

snorkel looks good, I'm holding off on that for a while. I have the itch for lightforce 240's

Get the sliders for protection, who cares if the tupperware gets scratched up, or torn off...
Nice snorkel install.

Sliders are the best protection you will ever buy...works equally as well in parking lots as it does on trail. Tires, sliders always first thing I do on every rig....

Looks like I'll be going with sliders next:steer::steer::steer::steer:

You still put the white letters out on the new tires? BaJesus man. Kudos for not giving a damn what everybody tells you:lol:

finally got some 305's on the hundy. I'll take pics tomorrow. Need advice on mounting quick fists.

Would drilling the side of my OEM roof rack work for holding a shovel with a quickfist. Shovel on one side, hi-lift on the other. Or should I mount the hi lift to the TJM using a quickfist?

305's are on. No issues with rubbing on the fender wells, I thought they would be too wide, guess I was wrong.

this summer upgrades:
305 Nitto TG's, safari snorkel, depo clear corners

Have checked for any rubbing with the wheels turned and suspension compressed?

The 305's look good.

As far as using the quickfists for your hi-lift on your roof rack, it might be a PITA to hold the hi-lift with one hand and strap the quickfist with the other, I don't know, maybe someone has done this...
Would probably work with the shovel, just make sure it is tight so the shovel doesn't rest on the body. I had to cut the side of my shovel using a Frontrunner RR and their accessories because it was too close to the body-no big deal.

Love those clear turn signals

I think I'll just use these! Thanks!

Also, I seemed to have lost some power when trying to accelerate to pass people on the freeway. Is this normal for a 33" tire change?

yes, we have all been there when going up tire sizes. It's more rolling resistance.

Full Compression

LJ -

You may run into a bit of rub when you go to full compression. In the pic below, I had my wife feel the amount of gap I had which she measured as 1.5 fingers (subjective, i know) of room between the top of my tire to the wheel well. This is with 285's.

Tires look good though!

Saw this in another forum, think truck is south of the border.
See they are into red accents also, here I thought it was just you.
