And the last thing on the list that should have been there. Get your rigg running. So you can drive it! Go through the mechanics of it with a fine tooth comb and look for weak spots and fix them.

I spent a whole month getting mine ready and never even thought of how it looked. And I still had problems on the trail but they were minor. Start at one end and work your way though the whole mechanical systems. You cruiser will love you for it.

Those are some words I never expected from your mouth virgo. Are you ok? Did you hit your head or something.

Yeah it was runnin smooth and had worked out the kinks till I bought the Tacometer last weekend and found out I was runnin at 1400 rpm. So really only had 2 days to try and get it down to 800 rpm and I got it there..but kept tweaking it as JP was tweakin his and sometimes it would do ok and sometimes it would just suck. And most of the stuff on there was necessary...had to weld the muffler cause the linkage was getting caught were the muffler bolted to the header. the seats had to come out so I could fit my spare tire in the back...the half doors were more for protection out on the trail. The other stuff was more fun stuff if I got the other things done.

I have no idea how those cut doors with jagged metal comming out of them provided protection. Unless your were try to protect yourself from a bear attack. Cause if I were a bear I wouldn't get anywhere near those doors. :D :flipoff2:

By the way I did manage to break something on the trail. From what I can tell I at least drove through 4 and 5 with it like this. Scary huh.

Interesting Marshall, When I got back home and was unloading the cruiser I realize I had a bent shackle. I think it happened when we passed those guys who parked in the best part of the trail.
