Here is what I have left to do on the 40 when I get home tomorrow night

Weld the muffler brackets back on
    Take out the back seats
Put in the shoulder seat belt
Replace missing bolt on the drive shaft
Drain and refill front and rear dif's - aint been done since I bought it
Cut and weld my half doors
Coat the doors, bumper, and sliders with a fresh coat of black paint
Weld on longer bolts on to the tire carrier

    the If I have time
    make a maglight holder
make a GPS and cell phone holder
    make a koozie holder

And once I get to ingles
    Put on my bikini top

Aint too bad...It's go time!

Heres my to do list, unfortunately I can't start my cruiser to do list which is like 30 items long until I do this one.
-Design 4 landscape plans ranging from 5-25k
-explain to our retarded secretary how to scan documents so i can work from clemson
-pack for trip back to sc, drive to sc and unpack
-drive to atlanta and pack my gf
-drive back from atlanta and unpack my gf
-snag a free dinner from my gf's parents

Matt I agree with you man. I just rocked the GRE on wed so I can go to grad school and hang around Clemson 2 more years.

And the last thing on the list that should have been there. Get your rigg running. So you can drive it! Go through the mechanics of it with a fine tooth comb and look for weak spots and fix them.

I spent a whole month getting mine ready and never even thought of how it looked. And I still had problems on the trail but they were minor. Start at one end and work your way though the whole mechanical systems. You cruiser will love you for it.

Yeah it was runnin smooth and had worked out the kinks till I bought the Tacometer last weekend and found out I was runnin at 1400 rpm. So really only had 2 days to try and get it down to 800 rpm and I got it there..but kept tweaking it as JP was tweakin his and sometimes it would do ok and sometimes it would just suck. And most of the stuff on there was necessary...had to weld the muffler cause the linkage was getting caught were the muffler bolted to the header. the seats had to come out so I could fit my spare tire in the back...the half doors were more for protection out on the trail. The other stuff was more fun stuff if I got the other things done.

I have no idea how those cut doors with jagged metal comming out of them provided protection. Unless your were try to protect yourself from a bear attack. Cause if I were a bear I wouldn't get anywhere near those doors. :D :flipoff2:

By the way I did manage to break something on the trail. From what I can tell I at least drove through 4 and 5 with it like this. Scary huh.

Interesting Marshall, When I got back home and was unloading the cruiser I realize I had a bent shackle. I think it happened when we passed those guys who parked in the best part of the trail.
