Just had mine mounted and wired up on my 76 series wagon. Locker install will be later on next week. Wanted to see where everyone else mounted their switches.

The lower part of the dash console had two blank switches, and a rear window anti-fog switch, which I had removed and installed the ARB switches. (not much fog around here:rolleyes:) The electrician had to file the switches down a bit to fit snuggly, and screwed up by having them facing away from the driver.

Couldnt find anywhere else to mount them. Lets see your switch mounts

I always try to keep them up nice and high so they are in your field of view and quick to reach so you dont have to look down and fumble around to reach them and become distracted and also in the centre of the truck so the passenger can easily operate them, my 70 series switches worked out good but my 40 series ones are a bit low for my likeing but thats a job for another day to remount them somewhere up by the gagues on the cage

The position on your 70 is prpoably the best place for these type of switches. Mine are on the front of the centre console and always getting knocked on. Planning to move as this 70.

The red swiches is for my vacum Lockers(volvo c303 axels)

Works fine for me...
