wow! looks great! I am just leaving my rusty quarters. I plan on laying the truck on them eventually anyway...

let me know when you are ready to work on fenders and I'll see about doing 2 more sets with you for my projects. we can even do the prototype runs for me so the practice makes yours perfect.

I was planning on leaving them rusty myself... funny how things change. I think they will support the weight of the 40 on a sharp rock, I'll know soon I'm sure.
I have to finish slider support before I start on fenders, probably be the 14th

I am available the 14th and 15th. we can do it if you are ready. I will keep an eye out and get some tubing.

I almost slipped off the first page;)

Been working on the tube fenders... this has turned out to be tougher than I imagined

CAD program, thanks to the USPS:hillbilly::hillbilly::hillbilly:

those look great! we need to come back by to tighten 1 bend to 90* at the front on each of ours. I have to double check it first. I hope ours look as good!

Rig looks amazing. If you ever want to make a set of those to make some cruiser $$ let me know, I would love a set of them.

Thanks again. You should come take a look at it and we can talk about building fenders.

Gordy's last Sunday

dude, you are way more patient than I am. after 2 tries i'd have bumped it and used the skinny pedal more.

The Mercedes forces me to be patient.

The weather is nice, let me know when you want to go out. I love watching a heavy right foot operate.

 I'm not too heavy right footed. but 1 tons give me a bit more lee-way... in the cooler weather my rig should function better, I will call you for an outing.:grinpimp:

Let me know. I have some vacation days left to burn this year so I can make it on a weekday with a little notice.

I slipped off the 1st page... time to update

Toyota E-locker that I picked up from u-pull-it then I added this great little cylinder from automationdirect to it

You can see it at the top of this picture

Shock tolerances... not very good

Then Santa bought some DIY beadlocks from Metal Inovations

Checking run out

and setting up the mig for a steady weld

it took a little while to get the hang of not moving the gun and just moving the wheel
