How much did all the parts cost?

lights were $20 each... shipped to me.. rocker switch $3.00 at VatoZone.. I already had the wire and the inline fuse....

That is really something, have to look for a pair of those. Are they waterproof? Would you mount them outside to the side of a roof rack?

The website states they are water proof.
They are originally made for boats and under water usage.
I havent put them underwater, but on their website some folks, have done so.
Others have used them for under carriage lights for wheeling...
Check them out...

I just went through the website, they look incredible. I'd vote these into the $50 mod section. I was just thinking about glueing a magnet to the bottom of a couple. Sort of portable troublelights.

I going to be ordering some shortly! I'm thinking area lighting and back-up lighting.

Manuchao, Do you think they put out enough light to work as back-up lights to supplement the dim stock ones? Also, why cool white as opposed to the warm white or just personal preference?

Jerry I would think they do put plenty of light for that too ...
Their website has a pic where a guy placed one on his metal bumper.....
They have them on flood and spot...........

according to the data the warm white puts out a few more lumens, but the cool white has less of a draw, not by much, but less...
I foresee using these lights every night 3+ hrs when we get to camp out, so the less draw on my battery the better..
Yes, personal preference had a play on the choice

Thanks Frank. Good job on finding a great little item there!

I going to order two for the bumper and two for the back hatch. I'm always trying to get more light out the back for both camping and backing up.

So how do you have these wired up to turn on? Would hate to have them suddenly flick on while you were driving in the position you have them.

If you can take some daylight mounting pics for us.

I have been wanting to do something like that for a long time now! Nice job and thanks for the link. My only concern is all the crap i take camping slamming into one of them.

wow!! that's something awesome i couldint believe my eyes seing the size of the light and the area it could bright up. i showed my friend the photos 6,7and 8 then showed him pict 1 he said he thought is a flood light ha ha great finding.

The lights are super cool. I want to know how did you get your hatch to raise up that high? If there is a write up, please post the link. Thanks Manu.

Great idea, thanks for sharing it. The vendor's website (Oznium) seems to have some other bits with high potential for our wagons.
