led light bar on top tabs of arb bumper (1 Viewer)

Just like the title says. I want to put a led light bar on the top tabs (hood height) of my arb bumper. I searched with no luck.

Who's done it? What size of bar? Pattern? Brand? Etc. Any night shots? How do you like it?

I am trying to get my brother to get a light bar on the main portion of his Tundra ARB. Should be able to get one that'll bolt to the bar there.

Well. I'm not wanting to drill. I'm wanting to mount to the two tabs on the top bar. Like in the pic i posted. So it may be hard to find a direct fit or need a bar with adjustable mounting. I dont have another bar like the land cruiser arbs. And the main bumper light tabs i have lightforce 170s i plan on keeping.

Kc makes some brackets. Found them at a local offroad shop. Pretty damn sturdy. But I may look at other options for a cleaner install.

Saw those but paid about $23 a piece locally for the kc ones. And iron moose is where I bought my light bar.

I bought and modified a Rigid Mount and mounted mine on the lower mounts of my ARB on my 80. You could also use a piece of flat stock bolted to the tabs and then mount the bar to those.

If I had it to do again I would probably just use the flat stock and bolt it to that using the mounts that the bar came with.

The picture in the OP looks like it may actually be mounted to the core support or grill.

I just got a 60w single row LED bar with a flood/spot pattern. the mounts are totally adjustable. I think the brand is Towtron (sp.?) it's a cheapo from ebay, but throws out a TON of light. I just got back from several days in WY. real dark out there...unless I'm leading the caravan.

sure did.

the mounts, although not as 'rigid' as say...the Rigid, Baja Desgins, etc, (hah, hah). they are indeed fully adjustable for the width of the light bar. the tabs are 16" apart and that's the 20" bar, you can slide the mounts to any spot and tighten it down. yep...that's the setup!

It seems to be working well for me so far. I'm totally sold on LEDs now. I'm quite happy with these ebay specials, but knowing about rigid and Baja designs, I may go down that road someday. I'm AMAZED at the light these suckers put out. (heh heh, I said "put out")

I recommend seeing if homedepot has a set of these in stock that will fit the ARB tubing.
