I think the Tacoma TRD has the high angle cv shafts.

Probably but it also is piece of mind knowing the lift you put in will not cause the cv to bind and ware out. CV shafts are expensive buy once cry once.

I watched Tinkers "subjective review" that was one of his rant highlights. The LC250 not having the same CV axles as the TRD Pro. Along with the lc250 steering not having the same twitchy feel as his FJ cruiser to name a few...
