Probably but it also is piece of mind knowing the lift you put in will not cause the cv to bind and ware out. CV shafts are expensive buy once cry once.Probably why the Taco sits 1.5" higher.

I watched Tinkers "subjective review" that was one of his rant highlights. The LC250 not having the same CV axles as the TRD Pro. Along with the lc250 steering not having the same twitchy feel as his FJ cruiserProbably why the Taco sits 1.5" higher.
