I have been a Land Cruiser owner since 1990 when I bought “Turtle” the 1976 FJ 40. I have owned a 1989 FJ62 and as of Friday, a 2025 Land Cruiser 250 “Bo-Berry.” Happy to join.

Congrats! We have had similar trajectories. My first Land Cruiser was a 1977 FJ40 I bought in 1988. Lots in between, but unfortunately I don’t have any of my 40s anymore.

the 200 is better suited to haul kids around while the 250 is better suited for steering between obsticals off road. So the educated guess would be 200 for the wife and kids to take them to soccer practice etc while the 250 the more masculine looking one for him.

I am excited to see how it does on the interstate.

Any pros of Westcott rack over Prospeed Rack? I have a Prospeed Rack on my LX470. Looking to see if I should run Westcott on my GX.

No idea. I looked at prinsu, westcott, expedition one.
Never heard of Prospeed until just now. It appears to have a lower profile.
Westcott is installed. Photos tomorrow or Tuesday. I’m happy with it.

Took out my 250 for the first time. Joshua Tree to Big Bear and then a few trails north of Big Bear Lake. I let my buddy drive my 100 and had my daughter take her 97 4Runner. The 250 handles like a dream on the trail. An all around great day.

And finally the dealer parking it out front after service instead of in the usual post-service parking area so everyone who drove up would see it (and presumably ask and then be directed to one they actually could sell?). They never did that with my FJ!

I love it and wouldn't want anything else except maybe the slate grey or white....
