Thanks for the recent comments.

This mfrs. policy has always been to sell complete kits only. That being said, any of you needing just one or two pieces, please post your wants here, and we'll see if several requests end up comprising a complete kit. Then, one or more of you can purchase a kit and distribute the pieces accordingly. (NOTE: please be advised that any individual pieces you may install will NOT match any of the other carpet in your truck. Even if your 6x carpet is in "really good shape," the 81-90 Toyota loop-pile carpet is notorious for fading (badly) over the 29 - 38 years it's been in these trucks. While the new carpet we sell is a virtual color match to the original OEM color, your carpet hasn't been that color in a LONG time - unless it's lived its entire life inside in a cool, dark place! :grinpimp:)

Any of you needing complete kits, please PM me, and we'll get one to you!

Thanks again,
David

Thanks for that update:

Anyone interested in going in on a brown set I only need the front section...I purchased a set from DNP and unfortunately spilled paint on the front section (sigh)!!

Please PM me if anyone would like to split a set up.

He's not kidding about this part. My original carpet has had a privileged life and is in great shape, but is definitely not the same color it started out. The darker strip is closer to original color (was hidden under trim).

Has anyone ordered extra material for door cards? Any idea how much would be needed?
I've had multiple people order door panel / cargo panel bulk carpet. They have all ordered 1 yard ( which translates into a piece that's 78" x 36") I have not done the bottom of the door panels / cargo area panels myself, so I can't say anything conclusively about the quantity. However, I've not had anyone write back to me to say that 1 yard is either too much carpet or not enough. Therefore, I must assume that's about the right amount.

Thanks,
David

Anyone out there have a BLACK version installed? Would you mind throwing some pics up?

I am contemplating making the switch since I have black seats and door panels.

Thanks folks.

Thanks for asking about that, Dave. I have sold several black carpet sets, but I have yet to get any photos of that color installed.

Anyone?

David, can you sell a cargo carpet set? Behind the rear seat and the tailgate?

Thanks!

Thanks for the message, but no, this mfr. will only sell complete sets. They sell mats separately, but the carpet sets only come complete (and, I can tell you from experience, after a minimum of 30 years now, there's no way either the brown or grey would match the OEM carpet color. 6x carpets are notorious for fading in the heat and UV, so the once grey carpets are now more of a blue-grey to blue color, and the browns are a lighter brown with sort of a green tint. Adding a new piece of correct-color carpet to your interior would just highlight how "off" you original carpet most likely is.)
right hand drive kits available?
Sorry, but no, this mfr. only offers U.S. spec, left hand drive kits.

I'm in need of some new carpet. Waiting until the H55F swap is done first, but this would be awesome, especially with UV protective tint on the windows to slow down fading over time. Gonna have to save this thread....

Thanks for the note. Just PM me when you get ready! (I'm really jealous of your planned H55F swap.....I want to do one myself, but I first want to figure out my best route to putting either a 1UZ or a 2UZ in front of it!)

Given the H55F swap, wouldn't that make the floor and carpet setup identical to a late 60? So once I'm ready I could just order a charcoal set for an '87 60 and be good to go right? Only thing is I want to make sure my cargo carpet doesn't have the small indent on the driver's side, since I've eliminated the OEM toolkit and won't have the panel that protrudes on the bottom.

Yes, the carpet will be the same either way. The good thing is: all carpets come uncut (as it relates to shifter holes, seat holes, etc.) Therefore, that allows for any degree of customization anyone wants to do. Also, when you order the carpet, be sure to specify not wanting the cargo indentation. The floor in the 60 changed between 85 and 86 models, so you'll need the 86 up front sections and the 85 back cargo area. I'm pretty sure I can make that happen for you, but I'll need to talk with them first. Thanks.
