That looks great. The pile of the carpet is a 99% match, it seems.

That's about right. You would never notice it, unless the two carpets were side-by-side. The OEM carpet has a very unusual "square" pattern that I've never seen on anything but the FJ6x series. I can't imagine any mfr. being able to justify the machinery cost necessary to duplicate that pattern.

Looks great!!
How long did the install take? I want to install mine myself as well.
I didn't really keep track of time as I worked on it a little at a time over the course of several days. At my glacial pace I think it would make for a long single day project as there was a lot of measure, mark, cut, fit, repeat.

Please PM me if you're interested in these carpet sets and/or mats. Not sure why, but sometimes I don't get notified via email that someone has posted to this thread. However, it looks like I ALWAYS get PMs.

Thanks to all the folks who have ordered so far. Everyone seems to like it! (I can attest to the fact that it transformed the interior of MY truck - well, the part I've gotten installed so far anyway........)

80-series coming soon!

Ordered a Brown set for the FJ60.....

Mine showed up today. Thanks David. I am really looking forward to getting this into my 60.

Quick note: The mfr. has notified me that prices will increase as of January 1. It's not going to be huge (like 5% or so), but any increase is an increase. If you need carpet for your late-floor 60 and 62 (3/86 - >>), let me know, as it's cheaper for the next couple of weeks than it will be starting next year.........AND, as an added incentive, I'm taking another $10 off for carpet sold before Christmas (so, $360/set + shipping)

Hey, $10 is $10..........:hillbilly:

Do have have rubber flooring? Like something I can just hose out? I would hate to distroy another carpet set

I've talked with the mfr. several times about that, but they say they've been unable to get it to work properly with the 6x series floor. Not sure exactly what causes the problem, but they've been unable to get satisfied with it to the point they're willing to offer it for sale.

Truth be known, if you don't stain it with grease, etc., carpet is actually easier to keep than vinyl/rubber. A rubber mat will look dusty/dirty most of the time (except after just washing it off), whereas carpet will hide all but the larger contrasting pieces of dirt. Seems contrary to reason, but that's actually the case.
