Nice! Are they any wider than the stock running boards?

I would say they are very similar in width to the stock running boards...

Looks great! Can you use them as a step for front passengers?

thanks! Yep, the wife says they work great for a step, "just like the stock running boards". It's a win win, I'm glad I got them for the protection, and they got their step back!

I rolled the 275/70 R18's on the stock wheels with no lift, and at full turn it just barley kissed the KDSS arm. It also had about 2 or 3mm of clearance between the tire and UCA at full turn. I went off-roading with the 275/70 R18's with no lift all the time, never rubbed on the fenders or anywhere else, worked out really great actually! My opinion is that is that max size you could go without a lift without some pretty major rubbing issues, i.e. UCA, KDSS, mud flaps, front inner fender etc! I didn't roll the 285's until after my lift and never rolled them on the stock wheels so this is all just in theory, but my guess is if ya wanna run them with no lift, I'd get a six pack of beer on ice and a fresh sawsal blade:grinpimp:

When you were running the 275/70-R18 tires how did that impact the gearing? Did you have issues with the vehicle hunting for gears or not being able to stay in the over drive gears when cruising at highway speeds?

never hunted for gears or anything like that. I will say that it appeared a notch slower off the line but other than that power loss was almost unnoticeable!

Really like your build dude. I have a 100 series right now, its been sweet, wheeled all through colorado this summer. Really thinking about jumping ship for a 200. I like what you did with yours, super sweet.

Thanks for the props man, grab a 200 series, you will never regret it!!!

Get some of that textured/sand grit tape and stick it where your passengers (and you) use the MetalTech sliders as a foot step. They are VERY slippery when wet and you don't want some one slipping and falling or getting their foot/leg wedged between the slider rails (ask me how I know about this!!) Round the corners of the tape before you stick it on so they don't get pulled up.
Nice build!!

my daughter blacked out the emblems on the 200 today!

Yeah the blacked out is okay (I actually love it), but the rock rash on the corners makes it really pop! (Also love)

Proving like always, you don’t really need to do much to a 200 to go anywhere you want.

I just noticed that the blacked out effect gives a defined line where the two half of the tailgate meet which I didn't notice until now.
I'll be doing this shortly along with some window tinting. Thanks Ken.

Covered on the water front now, well unless little Z has the sprayer:)
