Hi all,
Been a lurker here over the years and appreciate the wealth of knowledge. The time has come where I'm admitting that I won't have the time needed to bring my Land Cruiser back to the state it deserves to be in, and am ready to move it along. The short is, purchased in 2016 and added roughly 4k miles between 2016-2018. ODO turns and is accurate to my knowledge, 309k.
This truck has been parked since 2018 after I foolishly lended it to a friend for the weekend and they overheated it in town. Story is: Friend borrows truck, water pump starts leaking. New water pump was mounted by their mechanic, and the cooling system was not bled properly, and said friend drove it hot. I had it towed home and parked and never got around to doing the work.
Have gotten as far as installing an aftermarket aluminum radiator and then finding out it needs a head gasket. Engine spins freely, and started up last time I put fuel in it, but will need to be trailered.
Transmission and T-case were in good shape when parked, the body is showing tired and has some rust. Warn 9000lb winch with wired remote is on the front, to my knowledge the winch has never been used. Chip in windshield, there and stable since I bought the truck.
Asking $5500, located just south of Knoxville TN, in Rockford. ZIP 37853. Will need to be towed home. Open to offers, but not trades. Can't figure out how to upload extra photos, please reach out for more pictures
Could really use a new lease on life, but would make a good parts vehicle if that's what you're after. Please reach out with any questions or to come check it out, I have it listed elsewhere for a higher price in hopes of finding a happy buyer here. Thanks!
