I'm going to start assembly right meow as the wife wants to test sleeping in the lx tonight.

I can't imagine a situation where my wife would be excited to sleep in my car. Congrats to you sir! :princess:

Finally got these finished up and installed.

I sprayed the top, wings and drawer insides with U-Pol Raptor liner- very happy with the result and texture. Now I can throw in chain, tools, what ever and it's tough finish won't scratch off.

Experimented with another spray material on the drawer exterior and faces. I sprayed them with rustoleum textured finish- "Aged Iron" it's finer texture ( like 180grit) than the bed liner and its speckled with some greys and black- I've used it before and it held up fine on my shop cabinets, and figured it might look a little nicer contrast to the bedliner.

To spray the drawer sides, fronts, back and underside you'll use about 8-10cans(@ $5.50ea). To spray the top of the deck, wings and inside of drawers you'll use all of 2 x 750ml bottles of Raptor liner(2coats- 1 bottle per coat). You can buy bottles individually $32-$34ea or 4 bottle kit, spray gun for $99 + shipping. The 4 bottle kit would cover the entire drawer kiss drawer system should you go that route.

Dave spent a lot of time writing very detailed instructions- super impressed with that effort. The hardware pack was spot on- thanks to your son for being a good counter. The design of the kit is brilliant, easy to assemble, and is precision fit. I'm happy with it (and I'm picky and generally not easy to please)

Back in country and digging out of emails and PMs, also need to sort out how many paid and close this run with a final #, and then start working out a ship date. Stay tuned...

Dave, I just found this thread after being off ih8mud for about a year. Are you taking new orders for another run? And if so, when will you do the run. Love the design!
