I’d like to install additional led lights under the shelf but wondering where to tap into the dome light. Also, I’m reading the dome lights are a switch on with the negative? I would like to use a rely that would allow me to have 2 ways to turn on the lights, one with dome and one with a switch.

I dug into my rear/center dome light, and it was a PITA to work on. Yes, there is a constant +12V going to the lights, and the negative (ground) is switched. It actually makes sense once you think about it, makes it easier to isolate segments to different fuses.

Coming from the Jeep Wrangler world, this lc200 seems difficult to deal with. it makes me nervous tearing into because everything is so tight and well put together compared to the wrangle where dash and interior panels just pop off in your hand lol

I know what you mean. I transitioned from several Jeep Wranglers to a Second Gen Tacoma, and then a 200. IMO, Toyota does a much better job with the design and materials used in their interiors.

Loving the Kaon rack! Perfectly fits 2 Front Runner chairs, emergency blanket, jacket & hat, and a fire extinguisher mounted to the front wall.

If only shipping didn't almost double the cost. :(

$163 shipping? Whoa

The angle AL I ordered finally came in. Should have the full DIY completed after the holidays. Well less than $100 all in.

You changed that. My email said something different. ;)

Ya, my brainsaid Australian, but my fingers said Canadian..

Mine was pennies under $300 total shipped and arrived in like 3 days. Between the build quality and the utility, I have no regrets having paid $300 total.

That is what mine cost. I agree 100% with the quality of the product and the speed of the shipping. Well worth the cost.

A magnetic closet light is a great solution for extra cabin light. Another permanent solution I’m considering is tapping the 3rd row power seat harness and a adding a national Luna tap light.

FYI their pet barrier is on point. But...it utilizes a different shelf, should you choose to run both. So I have an extra stand alone shelf, NIB that I'll be selling. Edit: sold

Literally just yesterday I was thinking of ordering this shelf and adding some cool lighting underneath for truck camping! Seems like an ideal spot.
