I get those centipedes up to 6" long here. They are common and pretty harmless, unless you are a mouse or other small critter. I've never seen the scorps that Phil was fighting around here! If I do, I'll take my Russian 7.62x54 rifle off the shelf and start carrying it around! I'll use the pistol for backup!

Then I really hit the MUTHA LOAD.

Damn that's blechhh. I'd kill them with extreme prejudice, like with a blowtorch! Nasty scorpions... yuck I hate em. :censor:

BTW I pay to keep them away. My bug man uses scorpion granules too. :bounce:

Ya, duh! Mutated scorpions is just silly.

Exactly! Everyone knows that scorpions only mutate after nuclear war. Didn't you ever see Damnation Alley?

I'd been trying to figger out how to make a real world version of that thing since I first saw that movie. But then when MatTraxx came out, I kinda gave up.
I still kick it around in the back of my head from time to time.

You too? I always thought that would be a great way to make some serious speed in the boonies. Instead of a bunch of gears and shafts, I thought I'd use an electric drive motor in each wheel. Makes for great traction control. Boy, where's that winning Power Ball ticket when ya need it!?!?

Heh... the guy that built the Landmaster for Damnation Alley only spent about $300,000 to do it. No big deal. Oh and that was in 1977 dollars.

Does he still drive it to work every day?
