Just an FYI: Fit kit that lets 60 series use Thule "Aero" feet (1 Viewer)

This is just a basic FYI I suppose...

Fit Kit 2173 for a '99 to '10 Ford Powerstroke and/or Excursion fits a FJ60 and allows you to use Thule's Aero Feet.

What kind of payload capacity this bars could hold?lets say you have 4 of the bars across the roof.just curious it could be cheaper than an ARB rack.

Pretty significant. I gave up on roof top tents but I ran one with this setup for a 4 day off road trip and it did fine, including at night with an additional 500lbs of human up there. So, 800lbs total?

Why did you give up on roof top tents? I am still trying to make up my mind on rooftop or ground.

What you are after are the 8" high Thule gutter mount feet. These are a pair on my BJ73, but should be the same for a 60 series. I believe you need 55"-58" cross bars too. The set below are 58" bars.
