Finished a "small" deck for a friend of my wife's back in Sept. Did it as a favour, but was supposed to be just 12' x 20'. Ended up being 22' x 24', including a small raised section for the barbeque, LED lights, and a surround and base for a jacuzzi that was not part of the original plan. Unfortunately, don't have pics of the finished product, but l'm glad I did it anyways so she could enjoy her backyard.

That is very nice, did you use cedar around the hot tub built in?

Thanks. It's all brown pressure treated wood. The section around the steps is removable so that you can remove it and get access to the side panel cover on the spa.

Installed the fences for her just a few weeks back as I ran out of time last year to finish it. Posts were pretty twisted, so I ended up using lots of cedar shims to try to keep the fence boards as flush as possible with the them. All in all, I'm glad I was able to do it for her as she uses her hot tub every day.
