Is it possible we will have some kids along? We can stop and sled somewhere, too.... no age restrictions. Bring a sled, an intertube, shovel or trashbag. :D

A maybe...daughter will be along if mama isn’t to worried.[/QUOTE

That'd be great! I think Ali's daughter is coming, too! I'll have my fire department radio with me. If we get stuck we'll get her ride in the fire engine. Just got the conditions on the roads from my fire chief tonite too, so we can avoid the heavily trafficked (iced up) forest roads.

I'll be there with my 12 yo daughter and a sled. I'll bring an extra helmet for kids.

I was excited about this, but it looks like we won't make it. My little one is having her kindergarten Christmas performance at school that afternoon and there is no way she will miss it.

Yeah, that's kind of important. I can't make it either so I'm thinking of organizing something for next weekend or the weekend after, if anyone is interested.

Sorry, but I can't make it either. I do have a search and rescue commitment for Saturday.

I would be interested in trying a snow run sometime soon, but the calendar is already getting pretty full for weekends this month. But feel free to plan something and I will join in if I am available.

For those that are going, have a great time! It should be a great weekend for it.

Those performances are things that can't be recreated. Enjoy!

Oh, too bad. We got more snow; it should be fun! Hopefully next time.

I am unable to make tomorrow. Just getting back from the middle east and its just too tight for me. Frank and I were kicking around doing something next weekend. Especially since it seems like some nice conditions.

Don't forget that we have our club party on Sunday the 16th. So next Saturday the 15th may make more sense for a "round 2".

Looks like I've been given the green light!

Any one have any extra set of ski gloves for 1.5 year old? All the gloves we have are knit and soak through in minutes plus after 5 stops I can't find anything in ABQ that fits anyone smaller than a 3yo...should have bought them anyway!

The girl that works at the store in La Cueva is going to check when she gets home tonite to see if she has any laying around. Fingers crossed! I'm sure we can figure something out. There's also the Family Dollar store in San Ysidro; they may have something there.

Worse comes to worse, sandwich bags over normal gloves!

Steve,
Is momma coming?

Nope it's her Saturday to work...otherwise I'm guessing baby would be staying home not necessarily my choice;)

I've got gorilla tape in the truck...

I was thinking socks covered with plastic bags... taped up around the wrist. Perfect!

You know there is a Instructable for this...complicated stuff

Plastic Bag Mitten

Under the same Google image search came DIY dental damns:rofl:

Hahaha I didn't think to even google that!

But I admit I had to google "what's a dental dam?". Can't wait to see the ads that start popping up on my computer now... :slap:

Mal and I won’t be making it. Have a safe and fun ride!
