Rockwell, Ethan and I, Jeff, got back to Cuba and returned on 550. Hope the rest of the group gets back safely. Lots of fun. Thanks Cheryl for getting the group out into the snow covered Jemez.

If you did not get enough of snow, the New Mexico 4Wheelers are having their Christmas Tree Ride tomorrow, SUNDAY 12/9. They are meeting at Walatowa at 9:00 am and leaving at 9:30. Same kind of ride as we did today. Leader has HAM and CB , so communications are covered. Details on NM4W.org, under calendar. GUESTS are welcome. You do not need to be a member to participate.

I am going, cause I want more snow driving. Look for my dark green Toyota 80 and 3-4 Jeeps, and one guy is bringing his Ford truck to carry the trees that some folks may want. same kind of exploring , somewhat in the same general area, I am thinking.

Let's do some more snow wheeling!!!!!

Great turn out today.

Thanks for the great run everyone. Ethan and I are really happy to have found you all. We've been wheeling with a bunch of different groups over the years and yours is already our favorite.

Ethan just found the problem with his ABS circuit and it looks like an easy fix; a nicked ABS wire on the rear axle. I guess his new rear coils and super-flexy long travel links were a little more flexy than we were expecting. Live and learn.

Looking forward to seeing you all again.

Sure sorry I missed this. Looks like you guys had a great time. Glad I didnt miss the baby's Christmas concert though, they are pretty cute.

We just cut a tree off our property. Not much snow here, but we've got mud.

Excellent work fellas!

Hi Cheryl.
This is Stevan, the guy with the Green FJ Cruiser that joined your group for the Jemez Xmas Tree ride. It was great meeting you and the rest of the folks in the group. Question: Can you send me your husbans's contact info please.
Thanks a bunch and hope to meet with you guys again soon.

YES!!! LET's! It was a great day; I'm sorry you guys had to turn around. I wish we could've headed out today, but too much to do and had to go to town. Next weekend is our FD Christmas party, so that's out for us, unfortunately.

Thank you to everyone who made the trip to the Jemez yesterday and for all the great photos. It was great to finally put faces and names with the rigs and handles. We enjoyed the ride and the great company and snow (but, dang! When did they pave so much of 126?!).

Looking forward to the next ride. New Years? New years campout? Bonfire?

On a side note: Too bad I didn't have my fire department radio on; a newer 4runner got lost and stuck the night before and ran out of gas (assuming trying to keep warm overnight as they had not coats or sleeping bags) just a few miles from us and one of the occupants hiked out yesterday until he got cell service and had to call the FD for help. With all the trucks and recovery gear I bet we would've pulled them out in no time.

So glad you found the root of the problem and an easy fix.
