what a big turn out! so not much changed. new officers
Pres- Shawn remained
VP-Steve remained
Treasurer-Jon S. new!
TLCA bod delegate-Evan remained with new alternate of Ron.
new web master-Ron.

the treasurers report is that we have over $1600. we need to spend some $. it has been suggested to have a catered party, to have the club pay for food on a summer camping trip locally, and probably others i forgot. this can happen anytime this year, but we should start making suggestions to get this done.

we did vote to pay for a membership to the NMOHVA(New Mexico Off Highway Vehicle Alliance) and to be a yearly reoccurring expenditure. that's $100/year. unanimous vote and we certainly had a quorum.:D

dues are due. $20 sent to Jon Stewart ("pappy" on this board). he can give you an address or place to send it. contact him direct.

next meeting to be at the home of Skipper and Cathy Brown Feb 7th. Steve will run this meeting, i will be at work.

next run is Superbowl Sunday- Feb 1st. details to be worked out here.

we will work this year to do some projects with the Forest Service. trail clean ups, trail maintenance, etc. David L. will help me get into contact or be the contact to find out what they might want us to help them with.

T-shirts came up. i am working with CruiserDan to see if the guy that made them last still has the artwork to save a set up fee. we may change where the logo goes (front/back) and all that will be discussed here to get input. i'll start a thread when we know more details.

Rory, was Molly working on updating our logo? this may change the t-shirt plan if we want to go with a new logo design.

Evan made a delegate report. TLCA is in a major budget shortfall. some of the ideas floating to balance the budget are- trimming back Toyota Trails. this can include less pages, less color, stapled binding. also getting membership #'s up. we can help with this by putting the HDC info flyers/cards on vehicles and bringing new members into our club. let's all help out that way as best we can. please give Evan suggestions so he can take them back to TLCA. Evan will keep us updated.

what did i forget?

Thanks Steve and Wendy for hosting. Good Food too!

Thanks to everybody who brought all that food too!

Also, special thanks to those who brought foods for Storehouse West.

Jon--

Do you have a paypal account for dues?

Also, do we have anymore stickers that can be given to due paying members?

Thanks.

Stickers were given out at the meeting. Didn't you get one? Oh, wait ..... :grinpimp:

I'll work on the Paypal. I need to open the account first at the bank. Have patience.

x2, thanks Steve and Wendy for hosting.

You mean, besides the thrill and pride of being an HDC member?

5 or 10 gig of web space (I forget, but I think it's a soft limit) for a web page, pics, movies, or file storage...

Let us know when you get that set up so we can pay our dues.

Unfortunately, some of us work on Saturdays.

How do we go about getting stickers?

Thanks.

I don't have a sticker either. How can we be proud members if we can't express it?

We'll get them to the folks that need them. I think Shawn was given the extras.

you are right Rory. thanks. any of those changes mentioned wouldn't effect t-shirts. stickers maybe.
speaking of which, i have a couple stickers from Skipper. i think i have more somewhere. i'll look and give them to whoever needs them.

If we wanted, Molly could crank out a cool t-shrit design for us.

FWIW: I love the Canyon de Chelly trip idea that was floated at the meeting.

Mom and Dad hired a guide to camp back in there well before I came along, and said it was awesome. I've done the tour as a little kid, but in the back of a deuce and a half, it would be much more fun to go as a group for a night or two.

If this would be possible maybe early early April later, I'd say I've got a self-imposed deadline to get Dad's 40 back to running. ;)

Dan,
Evan and I volunteered to plan a trip. There is no date but we were thinking early April because CM is early May and we would lose interest if we got the date too close and if we do it in February or March the weather could be too cold for an overnight camping trip.
