Wanted ISO Hood Spear

I am looking for a hood spear in really good shape - mine has flaking chrome and I would rather not pay to have it refinished if someone will sell me a nice one. Just seeing whats out there. Thanks Norm

Probably going to be a hard find. Most who have a really nice one probably had it re-chromed at one time or found a NOS one that is currently mounted on their restored FJ40.

I can't seeing it costing a ton of $$ to get yours refinished.

Another option that wouldn't be perfect but would look nice is to have it powdercoated in chrome instead actually plated. The chrome looking powdercoat is pretty close to real chrome and much cheaper and easier to find someone to do.

If you have any autobody shops near you that do restoration work. Stop in an ask if they can send it out next time they send trim to the chrome plater. I bet $30 or less if it's with multiple peices.

Most spears sell for $75 and up depending on shape.
