Just added a new faceplate for LHD auto shifter consoles, this one has a big blank space for things like remote mount radio headunits, ScanGauge, etc. The pics with the parts installed are on this particular faceplate, SwitchPro just mounts over the switch holes.

Oh boy tough guy talk. Philosophically I find a personal connection to my physical possessions. And those that I cannot produce or wrench on myself I will find a reputable craftsman which shares my values to purchase from.

I’m sure if we spent an afternoon and a case of beer together we’d see eye to eye just fine. I drink miller/natty btw in case you assumed I was a big baller.

I agree about the corners, bur appreciate the tradeoff on available space and manufacturing.. Can you show a pic of the hinges you plan to use and how they will be integrated? That said, I think the combo of the shifting console sells it.

To be clear, there are no "plan to use" parts any more, these are all finalized and have been on the market for a while now. The hinge is simply a heavy duty stainless piano hinge held in place with bolts so it is a little adjustable. I know some of you are using the irhapsody relay / split so I figure I'll ask this here. I'm getting 12v from the battery to the relay and 0v from the relay to the fuse block. I have an extra relay and I swapped it and same issue. Any thoughts?

As @Delta VS mentioned you need to hook up a 12V Switch and Negative. That's what the other two terminals are for.

If you're stuck at this stage, please think through what you are doing with everything else very carefully. I'm a total n00b here with Electrical. I spent a tremendous amount of time researching the few basic mods I did. The consequence of a mistake could be bad and you may not know it for some time...especially if you wheel you need very tight electrical.

Yes, it sure does. In reality, it needs a signal, but that is just naming. There are two (I think?) little tabs on the bottom between the studs you have your wires attached to. One of them needs to go to ground and one needs to go to a power source, usually a power source that is only on when the ignition is on. Here is a short video of how relays work:

In very basic terms, a relay is a big switch controlled by a small switch. You wouldn't want 100 amps of power going through your ignition wiring, so you get a relay that can handle 100 amps of current (going through the studs you currently have wired) and trigger it with the small current switch of the ignition circuit (the small tabs on the bottom).
