First week in February

These are the people who make Lock Right lockers, Powertrax, ring and pinions, tec...

http://www.richmondgear.com/

Alex our Cuban has gotten us an invitation.

Here is a section of the e-mail

"I am reviewing your request with our Plant Manager. It appears that the first week in February would be the best time.

However, we would need a firm commitment on the number of people planning to attend. The tour would take about 2 hours and would have to be on a week-day as we only run a skeleton crew on Saturday and Sunday. No one under the age of 18, no sandals or open toed shoes, and no shorts. All of the attendees should be aware that they must wear safety glasses at all times in the shop (we would provide).

Let me know if your Club is interested and I will try to have a decision by January 11.

Thanks for your interest.

So is this something we would be interested in seeing? I would. I need firm commitments and dates you could attend.

neat tour!

I'm in! These guys are great. They once provided me with a bunch of pins for lockrights that some "nameless" club members were popping at Tellico.
Heck I keep a set of spares to this day. They really wanted to help
when we needed help. Kudos to our Ex Officio Cuban for making this happen!

Ahem, wish I could go - maybe they'd give free lock right pins as samples, just like when you tour a brewery or something.

Signed - Nameless.

P.S. If anyone goes, please find out the differences between low and high grade ring and pinion strength (i.e. what to ask when ordering new parts from various venders?) - including benefits of cryo, etc??? I don't know the difference and would spend extra money on bullet proof stuff...

I wanna, don't think I can get away midweek.

I'm in, although I don't have any of their goodies. Always up for a little education!

JP, can you work on getting up a tour of the toyota plant (and some plane tickets)?

I just got a lockright although it may be awhile before it goes into the front end. I need my PS pump JP.

sorry for the hijack marshall

I can't make this trip, but can someone get me a set of pins and springs for my lock-rite? I will pay if they won't let them go as a free sample.:grinpimp:

LOL...you need the strongest stuff available....I've seen you wheel. ;)
I'll print up your questions so I can be ready for any Q&A chances.

I just paid for springs and pins last month!

Depending on the day and times, etc I would be interested.
