Hey guys, forgive me if this is out of place, but I just wanted to intoduce myself to everyone. My name is James and I just recently joined ONSC a couple of days ago and have been graciously welcomed by John Casale. I have been trolling your guys clubhouse page for some time now and I could tell this is a group that I definitely want to be a part of. It appears by the member list I know a couple of guys already in the club, but our paths have not crossed in some time.

I look forward to being very active in the club and making new friends. I am also looking forward to helping out in anyway I can. John has already let me know about some upcoming work days at Uwharie and I cant wait to jump in and get my hands dirty. Thanks guys and I cant wait to see you on the trails in 2014.

welcome, there is also a thread on here for the Raleigh area monthly meeting you should check out.

Yeah I saw that and I am interested, but didnt think it would be my place just to show up being the new guy.

you have a cruiser that's all you need.

a good love for craft beer at tylers also helps ;)

Please understand that John Casale, aka Jonnie, and his truck, Moonglow, by no means are a representation of this clubs members. There are many decent people in this group with morals, manners and learning. We welcome you.

Good to see you on here James! Love the avatar you chose.

Did you just move into the area or have you been here for a while?

I will mainly be focusing on the LX for right now. My Hilux looks like it will be sold very soon and the FJ is sitting in storage for a frame off restoration.

Welcome! Glad to see another lurker get involved. I hope you will enjoy the club as much as I have, if not more.

Thanks man, I have been on Toyota Nation and Yotatech for years and have been lurking on MUD for about a year now. I am also active on other fourms like NC4x4 and other various overlanding forums.

I can already tell I am going to fit right in.

Hell yeah man, KCCO! I actually have been in and out of the Raleigh area since 86. Been into LC's since I was about 15. Actually paid my way through college restoring and flipping FJ-40's. I used to buy and sell about 15 40's a year back then.

Cant wait to meet everyone!

Nice to have a fellow chiver in the group! Welcome and KCCO! Or you could just like bill Murry haha.

Hey man who doesn't like BFM? I am definitely a chiver, I mean I have to do something when I am sitting in my office all day. I have many other avatars, but I have found many people on MUD to be very sensitive, so I didn't want to offend anyone. I was using a nice one from Mind the Gap but apparently a perfect ass is offensive to some, who knew.

Just curious are you affiliated with Craft International or just like the symbol?

I believe I sold a few to some guys from there and I have purchased a handful from there as well.

About what years ? Ever go to any of the 4wd shops we had down here ?
1996-2000 when I was most active. I really got out around 2004 and have only sold 3 FJ-40's since. Never got any parts or anything from down there. I mainly got my stuff from JT Outfitters before they even existed, back when Joe really just restoring FJ's at his house and then later running the website out of his house. I also had 3-4 west coast suppliers. Also when I was living in Japan I would send over all sorts of goodies to be stored for when I returned.

Welcome James.
Hey I appreciate it man.

Welcome to the group. military? Definitely need pictures of your vehicles. KCCO

Nope not military. However, everyone else in my family is. I do need to take some pics. Not much to show right now, the LX is completely stock at this point.

Happy New Year everyone!!!
