Installing a claw foot tub

Well the old claw foot tubs had a 1 3/8 drain assembly which made it fun to connect to a pvc trap. New drain assemblys are 1 1/2 now which is nicer but you still have to put the tub into the drain as you set it with the trap adapter low enough that the drain tee doesn't hit it. That and the supply connections have to fit under the cover flange. Other than that it's a piece of cake, quit your whinning.

Antique Kohler one with the removable feet and easily adjusted?

new strom one with deck mounted faucet and shower with built in curtain enclosure

its just a PITA, measurements have to be fairly precise, its shoved in the end of the bathroom with close quarters on 3 sides.. nothing really that HARD about it, its just tedious.

also had to hire a moving company to come and get the thing in the bathroom in the first place, while leaving the door casing off to get this thing through the rough-in opening

Did one last year. Nice but HEAVY!! Ours was an original and it can be tough finding faucets, shower curtains, rods, basically everything.

The PO had boxed it in to make it look "modern" but it looked horrid. Faucet was a bastardized lavatory faucet. All fixed up now.
