Backbone On 470...im sure a yak.platform could be fitted...
The backbone measures 71" long with mounting h (on center) on a 470 at 7.75 in, 26.75" , and 60 and 3/8 in. To center of rear mounting hole., As measured from the rear edge of the backbone rail.
From back edge of rail to rear hatch door seam is about 3 and 3/4 inches, just to give you a perspective of the layout

Metrics may vary slightly for 460. . .

IMO I would just sell the Yakima and buy what you need. You are going to end up being unsatisfied with it modify it and still not fix the need.

84x49. Fully covers the sunroof, but does not bother me a bit. I really like the full roof coverage, and can still open or tilt the sunroof for air flow. The platform is very solid, as well.
Looking at your rack as it's mounted, it looks like you don't have satellite radio. For those who do, be aware that covering that little shark fin antenna may compromise reception. Mine is almost completely covered with the RTT and if I'm driving in the worng direction of where the celestial satellite is (with the satellite infront of me), my reception can range from none to very spotty. If it's behind me, the line of sight is much better with perfect reception.

I have satellite radio and the shark fin (rack does not touch it). Can’t say I have had any reception issues, but I do not have a RTT.

Ok - so this last w/e took a road trip with storage boxes covering up the back portion of the rack, covering the antenna. Definitely had some reception issues.

If any of you are interested in loosing another 8 minutes of productivity to hear me complain about shirt I know nothing about... I made another video! I posted it over in the general forum this time:
