Idiot YouTuber Compares GX 460 to Land Cruiser Prado (1 Viewer)

I've been hanging around here for a while and finally bought a GX back in March after much insight from the community. Thank you.

I'd love for you guys to check out my video and tell me all the terribly basic things I got wrong about Land Cruisers in general and the Prado/GX specifically. It's supposed to be funny... but it's mostly dad jokes so your mileage may vary :-/

Which topic did you mean to post under? The video discusses tech issues significantly enough (and is entertaining and well-done to boot) that I have no problem leaving it here. But if you would like it moved I am happy to do that.

You must either be unemployed or on furloughed to have that much time to make video! Or it's your passion to entertain.
In either case, awesome little video and great explanation as to why we love our GX's.

Also, I found a high resolution image of the Land Cruiser history you showed. Didn't know that was out there! I down loaded it and may print and frame for reference. I'll post that in our Manuals thread for anyone interested. GX 460 Manuals

Thanks! I'm actually a freelance video producer and just started this because I wanted to bring my two passions together and get some on camera hosting experience. I appreciate you taking a look. One thing about the gx is the size - kind of feels like the new version of the 80 series in that respect (forgetting the IFS), but I don’t want to thrash the 80 now in the woods given where prices are going. I love the 200s, but they just seem huge.

I wanted an LX or 200LC bad but the seat config in the 200's is total s***. We needed the third seats as we have a teen ager and a five year old with lots of friends and there's just no room in the 200's with the third row in. I tried to convince myself it would work but when I took my wife for a test drive she slapped some sense into me.

You have a good natural on screen presence. The low key humor is quality, and I'm not just talking the dad jokes, but little nuggets like the comment bubble about "some other guys 'probably better' YT channel", "Who buys a Lexus battery?" and "don't tell anyone we owned a Hyundai". Of Course they're not knee slappers, but all brought on a middle aged man smirk.

I also enjoy the level of information offered, you don't drown the watcher in it, but don't avoid it either, my kinda balance.

Got a subscribed from me, look forward to new videos.
