Judging by the music in the film, I suspect this was the late '70's early '80's.

Judging by the narration, I bet it is a Warren Miller film. :D

Good call on the Warren Miller narration, Jim. I was thinking the same thing. Warren Miller in the man.

The music and video was pretty retro - reminded me of a Charlie's Angels or Starsky and Hutch episode...

Those things are pretty sweet. I call dibs on driving one when someone in the clubs forks out the $.

I wish I would have jumped on the oppurtunity to get a NIB Blazer Kit a few years ago for $400, this just brings it all back and makes me wanna kick myself even harder.

Thanks Marshall.. crazy good trucks.
Those are very nice. Thankfully
they are not Cruisers.
I bet that was not shot digitally. I especially
like the drivers. Stunt drivers that small
must get paid a fortune.
Capt'n and I once thought about doing
a frameoff piece on some Trail Blazers
we turned into Gundy2 and Tippy2.
Ken and Barbie were perfectly proportioned
for the lead roles. :grinpimp:
Buget problems.Weather delays. Union problems.(pre mafia connection days).
Ken and Barbie's crazy contract demands. Actors guild.
It all proved too much, even for skunk werks.
We shut it down.
I'm working on the gaucho to monster r/c thing this winter.
Man, I'd love one of those Hilux...real or R/C.
Thanks for the link and the time travel.

Nice call ther' Capt'n, on the Miller voice. Arghhhhh...ya
old pirate you! Nuttin' get's by the Capt'n, eh lads? :grinpimp:
